GTS Product Registration and Body Armor Care

Thank you for purchasing from GTS!  You have purchased a well-made, dependable item.  If something's not right - then let us know via the contact us tab on our website.

Registering your item is automatic.  We will use your sales record to accomplish this.  If not provided at the time of sale - I would recommend that you provide us with your email address in case we need to contact you with any important updates. This can be done by registering for your account by clicking on the head and shoulders symbol in the upper right hand corner of the website header.

Caring for your armor is pretty straightforward. Use water at room temperature to remove stains and for general cleaning.  Mild detergents are also acceptable. Avoid bleach or harsh detergents and solvents. Avoid over scrubbing the ballistic labels and make sure they remain intact. If you require a new label, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Ceramic is more durable than you think.  But, it can crack if you slam it down forcibly.  Please perform a before use check on your armor to verify its integrity.  That checklist may be found at GTS Ceramic Armor Plate Care and Inspection.

UHMWPE can be weakened by very high temperatures.  Do not leave your plates in unventilated, enclosed areas where internal temperatures may approach 200°F. Please discontinue use and contact us if your armor experiences temperatures in excess of 225°F for more than 30 minutes.
