EDGE-TO-EDGE CERAMIC on ALL plates (ceramic to PE edge coverage) In some cases, there will be a slight temperature resistant rubber edge of 1/2" or less to accommodate custom sizes and manufacturing processes.
If you want a lighter plate, let us know and we can build with a slight rubber edge.
Weights are approximate and are generally: 1 ounce per square inch for alumina. SiC is about 20% less weight than Alumina.
Please note that ALL prices are determined by square sizes. In other words, a 10" x 12" shooter's cut, SAPI cut or square cut will all be based on 120 square inches.
Manufactured to your specifications. We will need a sketch showing the plate dimensions and the protection level desired.
Available sizes: Almost any size up to 12" x 15".

Steps to order:
- Determine the total square inches you need. Remember all prices are determined on square size and based on the maximum dimensions for simplicity.
- Order the size you want in the ceramic material desired.
- Send an email to info@gilliamtechnicalservices.com with measurements A, B, C and D. You can also include a sketch, if preferred... AND
- Let us know if you would like the bottom corners squared (SAPI) or angled (Shooter's Cut). If you do not inform us, we assume that the lower corners are square.
- In your email, let us know if you would like anything special on the ballistic tag, like your name or "designed by".

Wilson was a great help to me in getting these plates. The plates are very high quality and packaged very well to protect them en route. I chose these plates because the I believe the anti frag top fabric will potentially give me a better chance at staying in the fight by not getting ceramic fragments and dust in my eyes and keeping the ceramic in place will potentially keep the integrity of the plates for greater multi hit performance. Wilson also was a big factor in this purchase. He was great at answering all my questions and helping me to pick the best set for me. I would highly recommend these plates. They are top notch quality.

I've been losing weight and I needed something to fit me while I'm on this weight loss grind. This was the perfect carrier for that. It fits perfect once adjusted. It's been comfortable to wear during my full 8 hour shifts jumping in and out of a car all day.
Ive had my plate going on a year and I've been 100% satisfied with them. The fit and finish its perfect. after watching a few GTS videos I knew these were what I was looking for. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them . Now I'm considering a new set.

Spoke on the phone with Wilson, he answered all of my questions and was very informative, I placed my order on a Friday he told me he was going to hand assemble them himself, while sending me pictures and videos of the process which was an experience I don’t think you will get anywhere else, I received my plates well packaged within 5 days, unbelievably fast from start to finish, will definitely be ordering another set soon.
Listen these plates are amazing quality I’ve paid for the more known brands at a way higher price and they are literally not even as well made as these, I have absolutely zero negative things to say the shipping was fast and very well packaged and the plates stop atleast 4 rounds of 30-06 ap what’s not to love. I just hope that this company stays true to its roots the more they become known unlike other companies that raise prices and lower standards the more known they are. Highly recommend.

Ive been messaging Gilliam tactical for awhile about the armor and ive always recieved quick replies and great answers to my questions. The plates i recieved feel excellent they're lighter than ESAPIS and have more coverage. Theres a thick protective lip all the way around the edge od the plates to prevent from shattering which i appreciate because i often find myself being pretty rough with my equipment due to the nature of my job. Shipping was quick and it was well packaged
I got these for my wife because she didn’t like the weight of some steel ones I got her. They’re nice and light and look great as well. Definitely confidence inspiring at a great price !!!

These plates are well worth the price point. You will not find a better deal on multi hit plates.
I recently purchased the 10.5" x 13", though I also have a set of the 9.5" x 11".
I decided to take one of my smaller plates out to range day. I do not have AP rounds...I did utilize a 6.5 grendal from about 30yrds and a 180 grain 30-06 hunting round from approx 5-7yrds. The rounds hit inside of 3.5" to one another and completely stopped both rounds. There was decent bulging on the back of the plate, though to the extent available to me...the plate held up as advertised. The central shot was the grendal, the lower shot was the 30-06.

Finally someone who makes armor choices in an affordable ceramic build the fit is perfect on the 9.5x12.5 i can move, they’re light , I can afford them which is the one of the biggest factors and because they’re not mass produced and very fresh they have the longest shelf life I’ve ever seen on ceramic plates best part too they can make custom sizes .

I really like the transparency and the information given on the products. The only thing which would definitely make purchasing easier is a formatted fact sheet, the same layout of information about the plate for each different product. As each plate has a slightly different layout of info. Other than that. It is hard to not buy more from this brand!
This is an excellent idea and something that we are working on. Given the amount of available customization, we haven't done this in the past. But, I believe it would make the decision making process easier. Thank you for the feedback.
