The RF2 protection level is well-suited for law enforcement, security professionals, and civilians who face rifle threat scenarios but don't require the heavier armor-piercing protection of RF3 plates.

Our plates are shot tested on the armor crown, the most vulnerable location. We do not recommend purchasing armor that does not clearly indicate crown locations in shot testing. Crown shot testing is particularly significant as it represents the most challenging impact point on any ceramic armor plate - the center of the curve where the ceramic is thinnest and most vulnerable. Successfully stopping RF2 threats at the crown demonstrates the plate's robust construction and reliable performance across the entire surface area.
