Collection: Edge-to-Edge Ceramic Armor
What does "Edge-to-Edge" mean when referring to ceramic armor plates?
Edge-to-Edge is a term used to refer to the ceramic layout of an armor plate. Edge-to-edge indicates that the ceramic armor strike face (individual, mosaic tiles or single-piece monolithic) extends all the way to the edges of the Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight-Polyethylene (UHMWPE) backing plate.
Edge-to-Edge ceramic armor offers the most protection - but, is also heavier than ceramic armor built with a rubber or EVA edge.
