Latest Testing Videos

This page is established to provide videos of ongoing range testing.  We use range testing to perform batch testing for ceramics, PE materials and adhesives.  We also utilize range testing to initially test the efficacy of planned armor design/layups.  Before any product is sent to the public market, it is professionally tested at an NIJ-approved ballistics laboratoy.  The lastest professional reports can be found here.

January 2024 Range Test:  The purpose of these shot tests were to evaluate a new batch of adhesives (pass) a 100% 30mm, UHMWPE plate resistance to the M855 and shot testing on the existing Level 4, Model 1012-AL edge-to-edge plate.  We also tested 2 research and development plates that we are experimenting with in preparation for the final layup to be sent to the NIJ CTAP later this year.  Overall results were solid with the adhesives batch passing, the UHMWPE plate resisting 10 rounds of the M855 (one partial perforation) and the Level 4 plate resisting 7 rounds of .30 caliber M2 armor piercing projectiles.
