Custom-built soft armor panels designed specifically for the KommandoStore Strelka Russian Defender 2 cover. The soft armor panels provide standalone NIJ 3a handgun protection (.44 Mag) and can be combined with ceramic plates for enhanced rifle threat protection when used with the KommandoStore Strelka Defender 2 carrier.

This soft armor set DOES NOT fit original Russian Defender 2 New or Old Gen covers. If you are looking for soft armor sets for your original DF2 cover, please order through this listing.

• Kevlar® K 520 XP - High performance option is super thin, lightweight and highly flexible. Brand new, modern panels able to incorporate low ply counts and high maneuverability. Most "Kevlar® and UHMWPE panels are built with approximately 30 layers of material. Kevlar® 520 achieves HG2 solution in less than 50% of the standard thickness.
• UHMWPE - Standard panels are quality, 160 g/m2 4-ply UD.
• Modular system flexibility - Can be used alone for HG2 protection or combined with RF2/RF3 ceramic plates for rifle threat protection
• Durable construction - Built to withstand the rigors of tactical use and daily wear
• Proper fit and coverage - Sized to match the unique configuration of the Strelka Defender 2 system

The panels can be worn independently for handgun protection or combined with ceramic armor plates for comprehensive rifle threat protection. When paired with RF2 or RF3 ceramic plates, the system provides multi-layered protection while the soft armor panels help manage backface deformation and provide additional protection against fragmentation and secondary threats.

This modular approach allows you to configure your protection level based on the threat environment. Use the soft armor panels alone for lightweight NIJ 3a protection during lower-threat situations, or add RF2 or RF3 ceramic plates when rifle threat protection is required. Whether you're building a complete armor package or upgrading an existing Strelka Defender 2 system, these custom-built soft armor panels provide flexible, standalone protection that integrates seamlessly with the carrier system.

Important Note: These soft armor panels provide standalone NIJ 3a protection against handgun threats. Ceramic armor plates (RF2 or RF3) are sold separately and are required only if rifle threat protection is needed. The ceramic plates also offer standalone protection at their respective levels.
