Most of our GTS plates are built in North Carolina - USA with the world's strongest materials. We combine advanced adhesives, trauma reducing layers and high-performance strike face layering to obtain ceramic particle control and maximize multi-hit performance.
Crack Arrestor Plate (CAP):
CAPs are strike face coverings made from composite and thermoplastics that reduce damage to surrounding ceramics. CAPs also limit the amount of ceramic particulate ejected into the air when struck with projectiles. The net effects of using CAPs are increased multi-hit capability. For more information, please click Crack Arrestor Plate Technology.
Trauma Reducer Plate (TRP) Option: Some of our plates are equipped with a Trauma Reducer Plate (TRP) option. A TRP can reduce backface deformation by 30% or more. For more information, please click Trauma Reducer Technology.
Affordable Armor Option: Our "OA+" series plates are the most affordable armor option and are manufactured in overseas locations.
We are focused on maximizing multiple hit performance, reducing trauma and reducing ceramic particulate that is ejected from the strike face during projectile impact.
ALL of our ceramic armor plates are multi-hit capable. This varies with shot placement.
