All armor plates in this category are built in North Carolina - USA with the world's strongest materials (domestic and imported). We combine advanced adhesives, trauma reducing layers and high-performance strike face layering to obtain ceramic particle control and maximize multi-hit performance.
*ALL of our ceramic armor plates are multi-hit capable. This varies with shot placement.
Our RF3 armor is built to comply with NIJ 0101.07 ballistic and environmental testing requirements. The RF3 armor category is designed around five basic designs. Two designs are single-curve aluminum oxide, mosaic ceramic armor plates. Two others are single-curve silicon carbide, mosaic ceramic armor plates. Both the alumina and silicon carbide single curved plates offer both ceramic fragmentation control versions and standard versions. All of our armor (except Model 0425) utilizes ballistic ceramic tile mosaic arrays for maximum multi-hit performance.
The last design is a high quality, Italian ballistic tile incorporating a multi-curve strike face.
Armor utilizing the silicon carbide ballistic tile is lighter, but is more expensive.
All armor models utilize our proprietary, Made in the USA ARMORFILM adhesives that are super low VOC, odorless and California Proposition 65 compliant. Our US-made armor models utilize edge-to-edge ceramic coverage. This means that the ballistic ceramic extends all the way across the armor plate.

Our prices reflect the great care and craftsmanship that is invested in each armor plate. We use advanced pressure and heat techniques involving very strong multi-cycle adhesives. Prices are subject to change at any time.
In most cases, you can order side plates for the Model(s) you are interested in by ordering "square cut" variants in 6.25" x 6.25" or 6.25" x 8.25" sizes. This will trigger the side plates to be manufactured to match the main plate layups.
In addition, all sales are in compliance with and customer acknowledgement of our LEGAL NOTICE. Please wear your armor in compliance with the ballistic label included on your product. DO NOT test your armor by intentionally wearing it during ballistic testing.
